Job Description Product Marketing Lead: Data Digital Services – Moving Goods

We are seeking a Product Marketing lead to help build our movement of goods digital services strategy, develop marketing requirements and grow revenue. The movement of goods and supply chain products include, but are not limited to, APIs, algorithms, tools, services, and capabilities that generate revenue. You’ll work closely with the product owners on the data services strategy, developing and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring the product is built according to the marketing requirements, and manage the overall P&L for the product. You’ll help take a product from the earliest strategy sessions of ideation all the way to successful market adoption. You’ll collaborate together with product owners to clearly articulate the high-level requirements, features, and benefits to the market.
The successful candidate will also be charged with developing engaging marketing programs, working alongside the regional marketing leads to reach the target audience for each product, and inspire an increase in revenue. Key responsibilities:
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market, developing product pricing strategies and structures.
Market intelligence – be the expert on your customers, how they consume and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them; Gathering all market information; Conducting competitive research and analysis.
Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products.
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and support the sales process of your products; Overseeing the creation of sales and marketing tools.
Product launch – plan the launch of new data products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Pipeline management – partner with internal teams to prioritize a backlog of capacities for enablement, and commercialize to take to market.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s in business or marketing
10+ years of software product marketing experience
5 years’ experience in the supply chain domain, with focus on logistics and transportation
Preferred Requirements:
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software implementation
Proven experience in productizing software services for large consumer base
Delivered / Marketed software services for large enterprise customers
Expert understanding of digital services and how to monetize them
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Very strong analytical skills
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
