IVI Software Developer position offered by Ford Motor Company (Palo Alto, CA). Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of embedded software development experience
- In lieu of a master's degree and 2 years of stated experience, will accept a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of embedded software development experience
- 2 years of experience: coding, testing, debugging, releasing, and maintaining software for infotainment, driver information or telematics software platforms
- 2 years of experience using embedded Linux, QNX, or other embedded multi-process based operating systems
- 2 years of experience using Agile and UML design methodologies
- 2 years of experience using team based Continuous Software Integration
- 2 years of experience developing software using C/C++ and User Interface Technologies
- 2 years of experience executing a project from inception to completion across multiple disciplines, including conducting research, working with and evaluating software capability of components of embedded hardware, acquiring and analyzing data, and implementing applications
- 2 years of experience interacting with and presenting technology demos to clients on projects
- 2 years of experience writing C/C++ code and developing applications based on multimedia, Bluetooth, or audio technologies that are used in a research or production environment
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently
