Position Description:

Ford Motor Company's Information Technology (IT) organization is a critical enabler to the entire Ford Enterprise and reports to the Group VP & CIO of Ford Motor Company. The IT organization has a unique enterprise-wide view of processes, understands the importance of process efficiency cost savings and time to market, understands pervasiveness of technology and is, therefore, able to enable the enterprise to be more efficient, nimble, and cutting-edge.

As Ford's vehicle consumers are expecting more features that combine their vehicles, mobile devices, and other systems to provide value in daily life, the IT organization has been instrumental in driving innovative technology solutions. Since consumers are using these solutions directly, it is of great importance to ensure they meet Ford’s standards for high-quality products. The group that builds technology solutions to meet this need has grown significantly.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for:

•Development, release & support of applications built with .NET in an Azure/Cloud environment.

•Cross-function engagement as it will be aligned predominantly to the Product Development feature owners, Marketing & Sales business partners, and application delivery teams.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

•1+ years of experience building applications to function in an Azure environment

•1+ years of experience building .NET applications in a Cloud-based application testing environment

•Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

•Strong written and oral communication skills

•Ideal candidate has practical experience in all systems life cycle phases

•Ideal candidate has knowledge and practical experience in core development technologies

•Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
