This is an IT Software Licensing position that will support IT Operations in crafting software license agreements with major software suppliers to meet the needs of the different hosting solutions of IT. The successful candidate will be working with the IT Service Providers, IT Contracts, IT Finance and IT Management to ensure that new software agreements and renewals meet the needs of the IT Enterprise and be a key participant in the execution of those agreements.
Responsibilities:
Gather ITO Service Managers requirements for software licensing
Work with software suppliers to develop licensing agreements that meet IT’s hosting needs
Develop business case and financial analysis of proposed software license agreements
Collaborate with the different IT teams; customer, contracts, finance, asset management, to obtain business requirements
Present final agreements to IT Management for approvals
Ongoing engagement with Software Asset Management team to ensure sustainability of licensing agreements
Interaction with ITO Business Office to support execution of transactions based on agreed upon Software Licensing Contracts
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ Years of experience with Software Licensing and licensing models
3+ Years of experience with IT Financials and Business Case Development
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Software Licensing Models
Experience with different hosting technologies
Collaborative mindset and able to work with different IT teams
Flexibility in thought to be able to identify options to software licensing models
Understanding of IT Financial Operating models
Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) process knowledge
Knowledge of the IT Operating Model / IT Service Management
