Job Description Position Description: There is an increasing need to apply research tools and analytical methods to address workforce issues. This position will provide an opportunity to apply research and data analysis skills to a topic of interest to Ford's Workforce Planning & Analytics Team. Possible research topic areas include: Survey Analytics - Integrate historical corporate survey data with other organization data sources to provide insights about the workforce. HR Training - Creating training material for HR employees related to analytics and how to use data to gain insights. Survey Strategy - Review published articles and research on corporate survey content. Research engagement and satisfaction surveys and their future direction.
Responsibilities: Understand business issues and develop analytical approaches to solve them Review published research and summarize results Obtain bench marking information from other companies Identify and obtain relevant data from internal and/or external sources Integrate and analyze the data Develop training resources Summarize the analysis Report findings and insights
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum: Graduate level course work in Industrial/Organizational Psychology A GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Preferred: Experience in applying analytical methods to human resources or workforce challenges Systemic thinking skills Experience working with large and complex databases/systems Experience working with surveys Experience in recruiting & selection
