Human Resources Ford College Graduate (FCG) Program
Our FCG Program is a developmental and rotational program designed to provide key competency development and ongoing training to prepare individuals for a HR career at Ford Motor Company.

HR FCGs at Ford will be given meaningful and challenging developmental assignments that contribute to the company’s success, as well as the opportunity to experience several areas across HR. The four-year program consists of two rotational assignments: one HR Labor Operations rotation in a U.S. Manufacturing plant facility, and one rotation working in either HR Business Operations (HRBO) or a Shared Center of Expertise (SCOE). One or both of these positions may be located outside of Southeast Michigan.


Basic Qualifications
  • Must have completed and passed an internship with Ford Motor Company in the previous year
  • Graduate degree (MLIR, MSHR, MBA or JD)
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale (to be confirmed upon graduation)
  • Less than 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Willing and able to relocate outside of SE Michigan
  • Willing and able to work in a manufacturing environment, with shift work as required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience doing HR-related work
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period
  • Demonstrated abilities in project and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly, concisely and persuasively
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse team
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment
