Become a team member on an outstanding, fun-loving, AGILE development team. Our day starts out by huddling around our Kanban board sharing goals and obstacles. After the huddle, we break into pairs or mob a business problem then commit our code several times a day to our GIT repository. Once we push to GIT, then our continuous delivery pipeline starts building and testing the application. Our team board automatically updates and radiates our build and test status.
Responsibilities:
As an agile software craftsman, you will be practicing pairing, test-driven development, continuous deployment, 2 week iteration/1 month release cycles, retrospectives, and feature estimation and break down all with a focus on business value delivery. All of the services are Rest-based with an XML payload, using a micro-services architecture, and deployed on Pivotal Cloud Foundry platforms. This individual will also do the following:
Collaborate with imbedded Business Owners to prioritize improvement efforts on the backlog
Minimum several years involvement with Java software development activities
Solid technical, problem solving, and communications skills
Demonstrated innovation
Demonstrated team player
Passion to understand the Order-to-Delivery business process
Passion to serve the customer
Prior experience with Agile
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ Years of experience working with collaborative teams
3+ Years of experience with JAVA
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Java, C#, Bash Script, MS SQL, Spring, GIT & Jenkins
Experience with .NET, Elm, Python, Ruby & Smarttalk
Angular/Angular 2, Ract, NodeJS, & other Javascript Frameworks
Familiarity with XP development practices
Elm, strong communication skills
Solid problem solving skills
Solve problems from end-to-end and create value in a hands-on way
Willingness to learn new ways to work together and solve problems
