Job Description Position Title: Ford Credit IT J2EE Developer
Overview:
Ford Credit Marketing & Sales IT works on innovative solutions for the Digital Marketing portfolio, including the Account Manager portfolio, comprised of an external-facing customer servicing site that also delivers vehicle marketing information and offers to our Ford Credit and Lincoln AFS customers.
This position will play a key role in delivering our global digital platform and will provide technical development opportunities with a global scope. The successful candidate will collaborate with other developers and business partners to deliver Account Manager through multiple channels, desktop and mobile FordPass and Lincoln Way apps. This is a great opportunity to gain Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) practices in a whole team model.
Responsibilities:
Development, enhancement and support of Account Manager Website and Mobile App using Agile and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including but not limited to pair programming, Test Driven Development (TDD), backlog grooming, sprint demos and Continuous Integration
Develop with web technologies, including Android, IOS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, microservices, Spring and AngularJS framework
Work directly with Ford Credit Business partners (Product Owners) to deliver application changes at market speed
Develop and execute unit and automated test scripts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience with Java EE, design patterns, mainstream industry frameworks: MVC-oriented (Velocity, Struts, JSF, JPA)
2+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as AngularJS, JQuery, XML, Java Script, HTML, CSS, JSON
2+ years of experience with RESTfull services (JAX RS) and/or SOAP (JAX WS)
2+ years of experience withJava-based IDE (Eclipse), WebLogic or WebSphere 5
2+ years of experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL, Server, MySQL, ANT build script, PVCS or AccuRev
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Java EE, design patterns, mainstream industry frameworks: MVC-oriented (Velocity, Struts, JSF, JPA)
5+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as AngularJS, JQuery, XML, Java Script, HTML, CSS, JSON
5+ years of experience with RESTfull services (JAX RS) and SOAP (JAX WS)
5+ years of experience with WebLogic or WebSphere 5
5+ years of experience with Java-based IDE (Eclipse)
3+ years of experience working with databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL
3+ years of experience with PVCS or AccuRev
3+ years of experience with ANT build script
Exposure to cloud native technology such as PCF, GitHub, Jenkins, SpringBoot, Spring Framework, Gradle, Angular JS
Experience in Agile and eXtreme programming practices such as pair programming, Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
