The People Analytics Leader will lead a team of talent analytics professionals that provide people-related data and analyses focused on ensuring the enterprise is able to make thoughtful, data-driven and human centered decisions. A core purpose of the role is to develop analytical frameworks, analyze and evaluate HR data to discover and present actionable approaches to key stakeholders and business leaders. The leader has the responsibility to tell the story of our talent landscape and develop a talent analytics strategy that serves our People vision and business strategy.
The manager will work closely with the HR leadership team on a wide range of analytical and project management functions to empower organizational decision-making with high quality data, including:
Responsibilities:
Research on trending skills and capabilities, key talent and retention strategies, drivers of engagement
Analysis of large data sets to distill insights and connect disparate ideas into cohesive recommendations and executive presentations
Automation of workforce metrics and dashboards to deliver insights at scale
Data quality processes and consistent use and adoption of measures, hierarchies, tools and reporting standards.
Approach for predictive analytics, including data requirements, trade-offs in analytical methods, and interpretation of results
Creation of models to assess trends, project needs, surface challenges, and estimate costs
Design and tracking of project plans to ensure completion of key milestones; integrate with other business processes
Survey design for qualitative and quantitive insights
Collaboration with key partners to develop workforce metrics that align with business priorities
Ability to connect business strategy to talent strategy
Strong desire and aptitude for deep analysis, building models, designing impactful data visualization
Proven capability to balance multiple priorities, and excellent written and visual communication skills
A strong sense of curiosity about the world and social behavior
Ability to lead a team of analytics professionals
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Ph.D in economics, industrial/organization psychology, finance, mathematics, or applied sciences
1+ years of experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies and working with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses (e.g. dashboards, tables, metrics), answering questions or creating solutions, and manipulating data (e.g., check for data issues, clean, merge)
1+ years of experience using data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) to tell a story and represent analyses to an executive audience
1+ years of project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with HR Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics
Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Knowledge of human centered design
Working knowledge of Tableau
Strong business communication, presentation and writing skills
Ability to communicate technical information and data to a non-technical audience in a logical, concise manner
Ability to understand strategic objectives and translate into delivery via compelling, well framed presentations
Strong problem formulation and problem solving skills
Superior learning agility; able to learn independently from a variety of sources; ability to thrive in ambiguous situations
Collaboration skills to develop buy-in and consensus that drives progress and results
