We've made a long-term commitment to working with communities to improve the educational opportunities available to students. Through our Salute to Education Scholarship program, we’ve helped thousands of students realize their dream for a college or university education.
Investing in the Community
Together with Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers and Ford Motor Credit, we’ve awarded more than $11 million in scholarships and educational grants to high school seniors in Texas, California and Florida. Scholarship recipients have demonstrated community service, academic achievement, leadership and strong educational and career goals.
San Antonio Roots
In Texas, San Antonio Ford dealers have been investing in education for more than 20 years. Salute to Education was launched in San Antonio, but quickly blossomed into a regional and national model for business and community relationships.
Florida Salutes Education
Through a unique partnership with the community in South Florida, the 20 Miami-Dade and Broward County Ford and Lincoln Mercury Dealers have awarded more than $3 million in scholarships to more than to more than 3,000 deserving public and private high school seniors in both counties.
Salute to Education is one of the largest private scholarship programs in South Florida. We’re proud that community volunteer participation has been an integral part of its success.
