Highlighting Latino Achievement
Our Journeys Our Stories: Portraits of Latino Achievement is a bilingual illustrated anthology of inspirational stories that celebrate Latino achievement in the United States. The exhibition was developed by the Smithsonian Latino Center and organized for travel by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES). Our Journeys/Our Stories looks at the lives of Latinos who have made significant contributions to the community in various areas, including athletics, politics, education and science, military, and community work.
The exhibition features a series of educational and community programs that bring the exhibition to life helping audiences of all ages learn and experience Latino culture and traditions. The Latinos featured in Our Journeys Our Stories: Portraits of Latino Achievement come from different countries and different sectors of society.
Our commitment to the Latino community emphasizes the contributions that Latinos have made throughout history and across all areas of society.
