COLIN BRAUN – No. 6 Con-way Freight Ford F-150 – “It’s been great so far. This whole No. 6 Con-way Freight Ford F-150 team has been really good in qualifying. Mike Beam always gives me a great truck when it comes to qualifying. It’s cool because he makes a lot of changes sometimes overnight and we still sometimes end up qualifying well. I think that’s just a testament to good of a job he does.”
YOU’RE THE ONLY DRIVER IN THE SERIES TO POST EIGHT TOP-10 STARTING POSITIONS, DOES THAT GIVE YOU MORE CONFIDENCE NOT ONLY IN THE RACE BUT IN YOUR SEASON? “I think it does. It shows that we’ve been quick everywhere we go and we’re always fast, that’s always a good think. I think it’s just a testament to how hard these guys work, too. All my guys work their tails off and certainly we do a lot of laps in practice, but it’s not as if we go out and do just a long run. We go out there and make a lot of runs and make a lot of changes. These guys do a great job and are working really hard. It’s a good group of guys.”
ON THE RACING AT DOVER “It’s a great, fun place. It’s definitely a lot different than anything else that I’ve driven on or been around. It’s interesting and a very challenging place, so it will make racing fun.”
WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO SEE IN THE RACE? “It’s going to be a tight, tough race. Hopefully, we’ll be able to hold our position and have a solid finish.”
