IN JUST THIRD CAREER CUP RACE, MARCOS AMBROSE FINISHES THIRD AT THE GLENMarcos Ambrose, driving the No. 21 Little Debbie Ford Fusion, made his way through almost the entire field – he officially started 43rd – en route to a Cup series career-best third-place finish at Watkins Glen on Sunday. Ambrose was competing in just his third career race in the series, and it occurred just one day after he won his first Nationwide series race. Matt Kenseth, driver of the No. 17 DeWalt Ford Fusion, finished 12th to move back into the top 12 of the season, just four races before the start of the Chase. |

DAVID GILLILAND CARRIES CONFIDENCE INTO WATKINS GLENThis weekend marks the first time David Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Dish Network Turbo HD Ford Fusion, has been to a road course since posting a Cup career-best second-place finish at Infineon Raceway in June. Gilliland says the team brought to Watkins Glen International the same car that he drove at Sonoma, and that he is confident heading into this weekend’s race. |

Erik Darnell Finishes Second at Nashville; Braun Finishes SixthErik Darnell, driver of the No. 99 Northern Tool Equipment Ford F-150 finished second in Saturday night's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. This was Darnell's fifth top-five finish in the last six races. He moves up to sixth in championship points standings. |

FORD DONATES OVER $200,000 TO SUPPORT THE DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANSFord Motor Company announced today that it will donate seven Ford Taurus X vehicles, valued at over $200,000, to support transportation needs of disabled veterans in seven select U.S. cities. Through Ford Motor Company Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford, the company is continuing an annual tradition of donating vehicles to the organization; more than 130 have been given since 1996. |
