Universum’s prestigious list of “Top 100 Ideal Employers” reflects preferences of students in five categories: engineering, information technology, business, liberal arts and natural sciences.
Ford ranked 24th in the engineering category, rose six spots from last year’s list to 78 in the business category and jumped 30 spots to rank 64th among information technology students.
“Our business is global and exciting and I believe these rankings reflect an appreciation for the diversity of challenges and possibilities within Ford,” said Felicia Fields, group vice president, Human Resources and Corporate Services. “We are pleased with our progress and believe it reflects the growing excitement around our great products and strong brand.”
Fields says she’s excited that future graduates are discovering the attractiveness of Ford and what the company has to offer.
“Attracting great talent is at the heart of delivering profitable growth,” she said. “Ford offers many great career choices that bring together the talents of many different disciplines, and it’s great to see students responding to our exciting brand.”
The 2013 rankings of the IDEAL™ Employers are based on a survey of nearly 66,000 undergraduate students, and reveal which employers have the most effective employer brand.
