Workforce and Education
We are committed to being a good neighbor in west Tennessee. We plan to connect the community to training opportunities through high schools, TCAT’s, colleges, universities and other community organizations. We are hosting and participating in events that will connect job seekers and youth to the advanced manufacturing careers, education opportunities and expose to a growing and exciting industry.

In the community
As we begin building BlueOval City, we are equally as active and committed to building a strong relationship in the west Tennessee community. As the project progresses we will seek out and connect with residents, government, academia, private businesses and non-profit organizations to help create opportunities for west Tennesseans.
Philanthropy
Our philanthropic arm, the Ford Fund, is already active in Tennessee and will continue to become more active as we bring BlueOval City to life. The Ford Fund has contributed more than $6 million to programs that support Tennessee communities in the last 10 years, and through Ford Volunteer Corps, Ford employees have dedicated 7,000 hours to serving the needs of people and organizations in Tennessee.
Ford Fund is a long-time supporter of the National Civil Rights Museum, Country Music Hall of Fame and other organizations that improve the quality of life in Tennessee. The Ford Fund and its volunteers helped support the community during recent floods and during the Covid-19 pandemic, distributing 1 million pieces of PPE in Tennessee. The Fund will also be engaging in educational programming in west Tennessee.
Construction
The undertaking near Stanton to build a sustainable electric vehicle and battery manufacturing facility is tremendous. We have brought in our expert partners at Walbridge to help plan and construct the mega campus. This mega campus will be a testament to the vision, foresight and scalability of Ford Motor Company. More than just a set of buildings, roads and infrastructure, BlueOval City is a beacon and physical manifestation of Ford’s vision to an electrified future – Built for America.
