ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

MEPO (Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP) Orientation) introduces first-year engineering students to the College of Engineering, the Office of Engineering Diversity, and Penn State over a three-day interactive program prior to the start of the fall semester (learn more about MEPO here: http://www.engr.psu.edu/mep/MEPO.html). Students will take part in many activities, seminars, and workshops that will not only prepare them for success inside the classroom, but will also prepare them for a successful career in the engineering field.

The Networking Luncheon connects participants to Penn State MEP alumni and corporate supporters, an integral part of their success at Penn State and after graduation. Participants get to ask a panel about “real life” studying engineering and a career in engineering. Students will sit at tables with alumni/employer reps, and network. Shani Allison will be representing Ford Motor Company as one of the panelists at this event.
