DEARBORN, Mich., March 17, 2014 - The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) recently recognized 42 of its former Scholars who are under the age of 40 at a special ceremony held in New York City. Ford’s Shani Allison was one of the alumni recognized for their exemplary contributions in the workplace and in their communities.
“I am excited, honored, and humbled to receive this award,” said Allison who works on the P558 – Super Duty Program Management team at the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Mich.
“This award means so much to me. It is nice to receive an award from your JRF family. My JRF family keeps me inspired and motivated. I am truly an ambassador of the Jackie Robinson quote we all hold dear, that ‘A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.’ In loving memory of my mom, I would like to dedicate this award to her for all her support over the years. She was my biggest cheerleader when it came to volunteering in the community.” Allison said.
