Ford Motor Company hosted a "Ford University" conference call on June 20, 2011. The call consisted of two parts. Auto University provided details on how Ford Motor Company reports financial data and also addressed frequently asked questions. Credit University provided further insight into Ford Motor Credit's business model.
The Auto University presentation was given by Bob Shanks, Vice President and Controller, Ford Motor Company. Business unit reporting, profit variance analysis, and EPS calculations were only a few of the topics covered.
The Credit University presentation was lead by Mike Seneski, Chief Financial Officer, Ford Motor Credit Company. It covered such topics as virtuous circle, profit reporting, and the Ford Credit Business Model.
Representatives of the investment community took advantage of the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each presentation.
