Adaptive Vehicles

We want to help people with physical disabilities take charge of their mobility and achieve independence.

Ford Mobility Motoring Program

The Ford Mobility Motoring Program provides up to $1,200 toward the cost of adaptive equipment, or up to $200 for an alert hearing device, lumbar support or running boards*, with the purchase or lease of an eligible new 2008, 2009 or 2010** Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle (through F-550). Maximum reimbursement per vehicle is $1,200.

Raised roof and lowered floor conversions alone do not meet the eligibility requirements. Documentation must show that mobility adaptive equipment (such as wheel chair lift, ramp or adaptive controls) was installed on the vehicle.

*Options available for factory installation, such as air conditioning, running boards, lumbar support and power windows are not considered eligible under the terms of the Ford Mobility Motoring Program **2011 models will be eligible if they are introduced prior to September 1, 2010.
