Biffle Cracks Top 10 in Brickyard 400 Qualifying

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, proved to be the fastest Ford in qualifying for Sunday's Brickyard 400. Biffle will start seventh in the 43-car field.

FORD CREDIT EARNS $556 MILLION IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2010*

Ford Motor Credit Company reported net income of $556 million in the second quarter of 2010, an increase of $143 million from earnings of $413 million a year earlier.  On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $888 million in the second quarter, compared with $646 million in the previous year.  On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $1.7 billion in the first half of 2010, compared with $610 million in the first half of 2009.

FORD POSTS NET INCOME OF $2.6 BILLION IN SECOND QUARTER 2010

Ford Motor Company [NYSE: F] today reported second quarter 2010 net income of $2.6 billion, or 61 cents per share, a $338 million improvement from second quarter 2009, as each of its major business operations around the world recorded improved profits.

Edwards Defends His Actions
