FORD MOTOR COMPANY ANNOUNCES PRICING RESULTS OF CONVERTIBLE NOTES OFFERINGFord Motor Company (NYSE: F) today announced the pricing of its offering of senior convertible notes due Nov. 15, 2016. Notes in the aggregate principal amount of $2.5 billion will be offered, an increase from the $2 billion previously announced. The notes will be senior unsecured obligations of Ford and will bear interest at a fixed rate of 4.25 percent per year. Ford has granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional $375 million in aggregate principal amount of notes. |

FORD CREDIT EARNS $427 MILLION IN THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2009*Ford Motor Credit Company reported net income of $427 million in the third quarter of 2009, an increase of $332 million from earnings of $95 million a year earlier. On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $677 million in the third quarter, compared with $161 million in the previous year. On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $1.3 billion in the first nine months of 2009. |
