News CenterFord starts 2012 on top with Autobytel awards
Based on their game-changing potential, advances in design and overall efficiency, two Ford vehicles have picked up awards from Autobytel, which is dedicated to helping consumers find information they need to purchase cars and connect to dealers online.
The best-selling pickup in the U.S. for the last three decades, the 2012 Ford F-150 EcoBoost™ was unanimously named Truck of the Year by Autobytel editors. “F-150 has seen its fair share of changes over the years, but the addition of the EcoBoost engine might be one of the biggest,” Autobytel says, as it “allows the F-150 to deliver best-in-class towing capabilities without sacrificing fuel economy.”
And with its “5.0-liter street-legal dose of V8 adrenaline,” the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 galloped its way to the Autobytel Sports Car of the Year award: “This horse loves to run and we loved to drive it,” editors say.
