Ford Names Thomas Fann President of Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan

Fann, a Taiwan native, has worked for Ford in various locations and capacities in roles of increasing responsibility, for almost twenty years.

 

Fann was formerly finance vice-president for Ford Lio Ho and has worked for Ford in Taiwan, Europe and Mainland China, in finance, purchasing, engineering and general management.

 

“Thomas brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to his new role as president of Ford Lio Ho,” said Dave Schoch, chairman and CEO of Ford Greater China.  “He has been instrumental in building Ford Lio Ho’s business in Taiwan, including helping restructure the company and laying the foundation to bring four new vehicles to Taiwan this year.”

 

Fann holds three degrees in mechanical engineering: a PhD from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a master’s degree from the Tsinghua University in Taiwan, and a bachelor’s degree from National Chen Kung University in Taiwan.

 

Current Ford Lio Ho President Albert Li has elected to leave the company to pursue other opportunities outside of Taiwan.
