BANGKOK, Thailand, March 20, 2012 – The technology packed all-new Ford Focus will be revealed at the 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show next week, giving ASEAN customers a first glimpse of the stylish global vehicle at the Ford stand.
The innovative all-new Ford Focus will take centre stage along with Ford’s comprehensive line-up of vehicles.
The all-new Ford Focus is the second of eight all-new global One Ford vehicles Ford will introduce to ASEAN markets by mid-decade, helping to further expand Ford's footprint in the booming region. The all-new Ford Focus – which will be built at the new USD450 million, state-of-the-art Ford Thailand Manufacturing production facility will be sold both locally and also for export markets.

Other smart features that assist the driver, many of which are a first-in-segment, with some being first-in-market for ASEAN, include Active Park Assist, Active City Stop, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Smart Keyless Entry.
The Candy Red five-door hatchback and the Ingot Silver four-door sedan on the Ford stand will give customers a close-up look at the top-notch series of the all-new Ford Focus.
Full lineup of Ford vehicles
Ford’s full display of vehicles at the Bangkok Show will include the expanded line-up of its class-leading Ford Fiesta, including the recently launched and premium equipped five-door Ford Fiesta 1.6L Sport Ultimate.
This new top-of-the-line Fiesta series model features a host of class-leading smart technologies and safety features, such as a first-in-segment seven-airbag configuration and cruise control.
Ford has also added the 1.5L Ti-VCT with six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission to the Fiesta lineup, giving Thai consumers even more choice and more opportunity to connect with this class-leading small car.

Also on display will be the full range of the class-defining, globally-engineered all-new Ford Ranger, which has been met with extraordinary demand since it was launched in Thailand in December, with customer bookings of more than 10,000 units to date.
The all-new Ranger has redefined the pickup truck segment in Thailand and markets across ASEAN by combining the toughness and capability of a pickup truck with smart technology, outstanding safety, excellent fuel economy, quality and comfort.
Ford will use the Bangkok Show for the ASEAN preview of its Australian-built Ford Territory premium SUV to gauge customer interest and the feasibility of a local market introduction.
The new Ford Territory is a seven-seat crossover, equipped with a 2.7LTDCi V6 turbo-diesel engine with six-speed automatic transmission.
The stand will also feature an upgraded Ford Everest, as well as the Ford Escape and current Ford Focus.
Interactive Displays
Alongside its vehicle showcase, Ford will pull out all stops at the Bangkok Show to wow show-goers with an array of interactive displays at its stand.
An interactive ‘Focus Theatre’ transforms the all-new Focus’ windscreen into a movie screen, which will allow visitors to experience for the first time, the class-leading smart technologies of the all-new Focus while enjoying the comfort of its interior.
A Ford SYNC® display unit will give visitors a hands-on experience with this award-winning, hands-free technology system, allowing visitors to connect almost any mobile phone or digital media player to their Focus via Bluetooth® and USB connection respectively. The driver is then able to make calls or play their favourite music via voice commands.

Special Deals
Ford will offer an array of special deals to visitors, with free one-year first class insurance provided with all customer bookings for the Ford Fiesta. This includes the recently launched Ford Fiesta 1.5L Ti-VCT with pricing of Bt.644,000 for the Trend model and Bt.699,000 for the Sport model.
Additionally, Ford will provide free one-year, first-class insurance with the all-new Ford Ranger XLT model, the Ford Everest SUV, and the current Ford Focus Sport+ and Ghia+ models.
Ford Escape SUV models will be available with 25 percent down payment and a special interest rate of 0.99 percent on 48 monthly payments, with one-year free first class insurance.
The 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show runs from March 28 to April 8 at Impact, Muang Thong Thani.
