  • Opened one new plant in Chongqing, China, in early 2012, to produce the Ford Focus. We are building six additional new plants – three in China, two in India and one in Thailand – as part of our plan to have production capacity of 2.3 million vehicles in the region by mid-decade.
  • Increased overall market share in the region by 0.3 percentage points in 2011 compared to 2010, including market share increases in the fastest-growing regional markets of China and India
