Job Description The position is a controls engineer that will be working with powertrain to develop the next generating power nets to support Autonomous Vehicles, 48 volt power nets and incorporating new technology to meet the growing demand of power in future vehicles.

Development HEVSYS Model
Good understanding of PCM
Good understanding of PCM Strategy specifically charging
Development of Strategy to support 48 volt power net
Development of HE
Work Powertrain Control Strategy writers and Calibrators to develop useable strategy to be implemented on new power nets with new technologies for future programs.
Knowledge in Controls to support Functional Safety analysis
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Engineering
2+ year Familiarity with powertrain and/or body module software design /calibration
2+ year Modeling skills - MATLAB, Simulink, ATI or CANalyzer etc
Preferred Qualification:
- Documentation and development steps including preparation and presentation to management. Familiar with powertrain - Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering - Electrical system design experience preferred - Electrical system design experience preferred - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge in the area of power supply - Knowledge of communication protocols (LIN, CAN) - Knowledge of the Ford development process (GTDS, GPDS) - Good communication skills, including verbal and technical writing
