Job Description As part of the Digital Optimization Analytics team, you will be a key part of a group of digital marketing strategists and analysts, working with Marketing to help them optimize interactive marketing strategies and tactics. Your analytical skills and digital marketing experience will help Marketing gain important insights into and across various digital marketing channels – and then use this insight to support the development of marketing strategies and tactics to drive improved results and better marketing ROI. The Digital Optimization analyst is responsible for leading the test and learn and targeted initiatives within one of three functional squads, identifying optimization opportunities and high-value segmentation strategies. This individual will collaborate with Marketing and agency partners in crafting comprehensive test and / or target plans, activating within publishers and establishing a robust measurement structure, inclusive of insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and a quick learner with a desire to learn new tools and techniques. Success in this role greatly depends on his/her ability to analyze optimization campaign results, provide actionable insights and build collaborative working relationships with team members across the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of strong analytical, problem solving, and data manipulation skills and experience, the ability to synthesize analytic findings into actionable strategic recommendations, and experience in interactive/digital marketing.
Responsibilities:
Identify innovative ways for measuring and improving customer engagement
Report on and analyze the performance of digital marketing activities, especially within the digital and email channel. Analyze existing ad hoc and lifecycle programs, and help develop strategies to improve them
Recognizes the connection between the business operations and analytics to influence business strategies and solutions.
Utilize predictive analytics to assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness. Translates results into meaningful solutions to enhance decision-making; may present findings to various levels of leadership.
Contribute to establishment of the measurement structure for all digital marketing channels including (but not limited to) display, LinkedIn and Facebook Ads, Email marketing, and landing pages
Designs experiments to answer targeted questions supporting a Test and Learn environment. Documents projects including business objective, data gathering and processing, leading approaches, detailed set of results and analytical metrics.
Define key metrics and identify sources of data to create test projections
Collect, clean, and synthesize live test data and derive user insights
Make recommendations for tests to conduct based on performance analysis and consumer insights
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Create daily and weekly reports on digital marketing tests for leadership and communicate results through email and presentations
Work with teams to ensure necessary tagging and data infrastructure
Conduct ad-hoc analysis by pulling data from multiple sources including historical performance, trends, and benchmarking
Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field is required
3+ years’ experience in marketing analysis role
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, personalization and customer experience
Experienced in Adobe Analytics (Ad-Hoc and Workspace)
Demonstrable experience measuring and performance analytics for SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, also social media management tools or social analytics tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills to help articulate customer and business needs
Experience continuously leading and re-prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines (strong project management)
Compile and analyze data using advanced reporting tools; identify trends and apply (or create) tools for statistical analysis
