Our team consists of Human Factors engineers / scientists as well as Interaction Designers. Our focus is on how customers will interact with new technologies!
What is Our Purpose?
The HF&IxD team supports all new technologies, developed within R&A that have direct interaction with customers. We develop the strategies of how these technologies will interact with customers and conduct tests to iterate and verify these strategies. We deliver evidence to the technology development teams to support these strategies and justify the design of the technology / feature.

Position Duties:
- Create interactive prototype software based on wireframe diagrams, screen compositions, use case requirements, and/or system requirements.
- Collaborate with interaction designers, and human factors engineers to iterate and test user interface designs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with systems and electrical engineers to ensure software meets target specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 2+ years’ Experience with the Qt framework
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in GUI development
- Experience creating interactive systems
- Experience writing software that is part of a larger system
- C++ development experience
- Web-based development experience, including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, etc.
- Linux and Linux command line experience a plus
- Experience developing for embedded systems a plus
- Android or iOS development a plus
- OpenGL experience a plus
