Job Description Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
Develop / Maintain Specifications and Release in VSEM , - Review and approve component high-level design documents.
Champion Technical Design Reviews, solicit feedback from all stakeholders, ensure buy-in including Privacy/Legal, Security, Safety (if Required) in addition to functional and other feature owners.
Maintain open requirements issue list, review, track and report on progress
Issue change requests when necessary and champion process
Create and Maintain Feature FMEA and quality documentation and ensure DVP captures test cases from both requirements and FMEA documentation
Update / Maintain CVS Issue Sharepoint. Lead integration and triage process for assigned features / enablers
Support Go/No Go calls and provide input on issue severity and likelihood of occurrence.
Validate feature on breadboard, vehicles or benches
Lead meeting with global teams to assure testing is coordinated, executed and issues are tracked accordingly
Interface with FCSD to assure production roll out of OTA for TCU
Maintain production rollout for the different programs
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
1 years + experience in product engineering, system engineering, application architecture, product engineering or software development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Experience creating Failure Mode Avoidance documentation such as P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, & FMEAs for highly integrated systems.
Experience in application, architecture design; design/delivery of complex integration solutions and some practical programming experience.
Familiarity with wireless communication, component-level system integration, and vehicle CAN networks.
