Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • You will serve as thought leader, solution visionary, technology expert and mentor to other engineers.
  • Analyze system infrastructure to determine architectural improvements and optimization
  • Develop system requirements and system architecture for new functionality to support updating a connected vehicle
  • Ad-Hoc testing to validate the requirements
  • Develop methodologies to automate the testing from cloud to vehicle.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • 6+ years’ experience with IoT protocols like MQTT, AMQP and HTTPS
  • 6+ years’ experience with Cloud IoT platforms specifically Azure (Azure IoT hub, Stream Analytics, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, Azure AppService etc) and ability to demonstrate experience architecting cloud first highly scalable applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of concepts like Device Provisioning & Management, Device Twin, Edge Analytics and demonstrable application of these concepts in past projects
  • Experience with device firmware and connectivity to the cloud
  • Understanding of key solution scenarios like over the air updates and command and control
  • Strong understanding of security across device, connectivity, cloud and user access
  • Basic understanding of hardware engineering impact to IoT projects
  • Working knowledge of other Azure services from a scalability, global deployments perspective as well
  • Strong background in .NET & C#
  • Working knowledge of container usage for deploying on the Edge.
  • Experience in the design and development of cloud-native, secure, distributed applications that leverage microservice architecture, webservices, ReST APIs, API Gateways, relational and NoSQL stores and loosely coupled messaging
  • Experience in the design and automation of Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities including virtual networks, virtual machines, cloud services, web sites, data services, IoT services, etc.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Internet of Things solutions that leverage high volume telemetry ingestion, stream analytics and data visualization
  • Experience in the design and implementation of big data analytics that leverage Hadoop and predictive analytics systems
  • Experience in DevOps practices including automations and capabilities for CI, CD, metrics, monitoring, infrastructure as code, configuration management, and the organizational adoption of systems thinking, feedback loops and collaboration
  • Experience and solid understanding of cloud / networking / distributed computing environments
  • Experience and capability to conceive and present solutions to client tailored to their unique business problems and opportunities, then follow through to SOW preparation and engagement delivery
  • Experience in the design and implementation of responsive web and mobile applications

  • 5+ Years IoT project development
