Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical design analysis, planning, requirements analysis, systems integration & architecture
- Develop system software requirements and implementation architecture
- Manage, document and communicate systems progress, plans and set expectations for successful solution deployment
- Drive process, procedure, and methodology to optimize architecture
- Anticipate potential issues, identify dependencies, and develop validation test strategies
- Translate system requirements and implementation architecture into testable product requirements and design specifications
- Lead technical discussions, build and manage relationships with cross-competency teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Develop Functional Safety Requirement and Technical Safety Requirement based on ISO 26262 and support team in identification of the safety goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field
- 4+ years of industry experience in implementing, managing and configuring electronic control systems such as vehicle control systems, infotainment, hands-free (Bluetooth, wireless) solutions
- Experience taking high level business requirements and design to shipping and large scale production
- Ability to understand complex technical systems, specifically relating to vehicle components and automotive communications
- Knowledge of distributed systems & software architectures for automotive designs, their multiple abstraction layers and their interdependencies
- Strong technical and nontechnical communication skills
- Solid presentation, writing and documentation skills
- Ability to identify and act on opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262
