Responsibilities:- Lead Infotainment Display D&R Engineer for current model production of various display units in production.
- Lead quality projects, and warranty related design and process changes.
- Lead warranty Spend/Spike Recovery projects.
- Release service messages and bulletins to address warranty issues.
- Review service manuals and diagnostic tools to improve the vehicle service experience.
- Work collaboratively with infotainment team to address system issues.
- Work with supplier to ensure part analysis and corrective actions are thorough and complete
- Support supplier quality focus Meetings to ensure that supplier quality targets are met
- Support assembly plant team by providing the required analysis needed to bring plant issues to quick resolutions.
- Support all related quality reviews by resolving open items with quick resolution of issues
- Work with dealer technicians and field service engineers to address field concerns and help expedite warranty parts for quick issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience working in an automotive engineering environment
Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of electronics and/or vehicle systems
- Experience working on electronic display products
- Ability to troubleshoot vehicle, system, and component issues. Utilize is/is not, fishbone diagram, 8-D, etc.
- Working knowledge of Ford quality tracking systems (AWS, Datacubes, BSAQ, ECB, GCQIS, GQRS, etc.) or equivalent
- Working Knowledge of Ford WERS release system (Concerns, Notices, Alerts, etc.) or equivalent
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional setting
