Position Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead system engineering development & integration efforts for the Phone as a Key feature.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate 1 pager feature definition into a customer user experience
  • Develop / Maintain Specifications and Release in Specification management tools, - Review and approve component high-level design documents.
  • Champion Technical Design Reviews, solicit feedback from all stakeholders, ensure buy-in including Privacy/Legal, Security, Safety (if required) in addition to functional and other feature owners.
  • Maintain open requirements issue list, review, track and track issue change requests when necessary and champion process
  • Create and Maintain Feature / Enabler FMEA and quality documentation and ensure DVP captures test cases from both requirements and FMEA documentation
Primary Technical Skills:
  • Experience working with Bluetooth protocols, standards, BLE, other transports
  • Familiarity with vehicle component-level system integration, vehicle CAN, Ethernet networks.
  • Familiarity with mobile device software & hardware platforms.
  • Experience creating Failure Mode Avoidance documentation such as P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, & FMEAs for highly integrated systems.
  • Experience in application, architecture design; design/delivery of complex integration solutions and some practical programming experience.

  • Strong communication and team player skills; able to work globally across a diverse cultures.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills for overall architecture, application design.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with support personnel, application development personnel, vendors and management.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and ability to work under aggressive timelines and sporadic heavy workloads
  • Possess sustainability against changing demand from internal & external business requirements.
  • Be accustomed to operating agile and quickly to meet customer product demand.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 2+ years’ experience as a system engineer or system architect

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in engineering
  • Experience launching new technology and complex systems
  • Verification/testing or system operations experience is a +
  • Cross-functional experience with 2 or more areas: in-vehicle embedded telematics technology, body & security electronic systems, IT backend / cloud based systems
  • 2+ years’ experience with mobile app or various application server side or embedded development
  • 2+ years’ experience working CAN, in-vehicle systems
  • 1+ years’ experience of Bluetooth Low Energy integration and development experience
