Responsibilities:
- Design and build solutions for Ford’s Hadoop data lake environment
- Develop prototypes to validate interactions and prove product designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and create solutions
- Work with Product Managers to document user stories and features
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in software development (Java)
- 1+ years of experience in Hadoop (Hive, Ranger, HBase, Kafka, HDFS, Spark)
- 1+ years of experience working in agile based delivery teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data modeling and database design concepts (Oracle , SQL)
- Test driven development experience
- Development experience using Spring API
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team Lead experience
- Motivated and self-starter
