“I moved from Seattle, Washington, to Michigan because I wanted to live in Detroit. I wanted to be on the ground floor of a grassroots movement striving for a more equitable and sustainable city. There’s so much to do and see in Detroit, and endless opportunities to collaborate in the community. Detroiters have a resilient spirit and passion that’s energizing, loving, and very unique.
