- Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services is providing $50,000 to Hands On Nashville as part of its disaster relief support.
- Ford also is offering special rebates and payment terms for customers impacted by the flooding.

DEARBORN, Mich., May 13, 2010 – Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services today announced a donation of $50,000 to Hands On Nashville in support of its disaster relief efforts and other community outreach activities.
The Ford Motor Credit Company Nashville Business Center has a long-standing relationship with Hands On Nashville, a recognized leader in supporting volunteer activities in the greater Nashville community for nearly 20 years. The employees at the Nashville Business Center in Franklin, Tenn., have been active volunteers through Hands On Nashville since 1995.
Ford Motor Company also is offering rebates of $750 toward selected new vehicles to customers with car and trucks damaged in the recent flooding and who live in counties designated as disaster areas. This program runs through June 30.
In addition, Ford Credit is offering customers affected by the floods the option to delay some car and truck payments. Ford Credit's Disaster Relief Program allows qualified customers to postpone up to three monthly payments, resuming their regular payment schedules as their situations improve. During the past two years, Ford Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company Fund have contributed more than $2 million, and more than $6 million during the past seven years, to non-profit organizations in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. These organizations include the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville Zoo, OASIS and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Other initiatives include Ford Driving Skills for Life, which offers hands-on driving clinics for teens, and Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies, which provides Nashville high schools an innovative educational model that develops critical thinking, team building and other career-relevant skills using real-world problems from fields such as business, economics and engineering.
