TICKETS AND SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR 2011 AUTOGLOW TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN’S CENTER

DETROIT – Nov.29, 2010 – Tickets and sponsorships are now available for the 2011 AutoGlow event, benefiting The Children’s Center of Wayne County. To be held at the Westin Book Cadillac, AutoGlow aims to be Detroit’s premier after-glow event following the 2011 North American International Auto Show Charity Preview on Friday, Jan. 14.

Building upon more than 80 years of support for The Children’s Center, Ford Motor Company returns as the presenting sponsor of AutoGlow. The event’s hosts are Bill Ford, Ford’s executive chairman, and his wife, Lisa, and Alan Mulally, Ford’s president and CEO, and his wife, Nicki.

“Ford Motor Company’s support of The Children’s Center is a shining example of our commitment to improve the communities in which we do business” Bill Ford said. “We are proud to support The Children’s Center’s mission to help children and families shape their own positive futures.”

The event includes a pre-reception from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m, with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, entertainment and shuttles running to-and-from Cobo Center for Charity Preview. AutoGlow continues from 8 p.m. until midnight, featuring an elegant strolling dinner, desserts, an open bar, dancing and entertainment sponsored by Caesars Windsor.
