Ford India opens an all-new dealership in Anantapur

Anantapur May 21, 2009 -- Ford India today inaugurated a brand new integrated 3-S [showroom, sales and service] dealership, Rithvikaa Ford in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

 
Rithvikaa Ford was inaugurated by Ford India's president and managing director Michael Boneham, along with Nigel Wark, executive director, Marketing, Sales and Service of Ford India and Sridhar Reddy, dealer principal of the new facility.
 
Built spaciously and spread over 45,000 sq.ft, Rithvikaa Ford is located at Kakkalapalli Cross, about two kilometres away from the city centre on the Bangalore – Hyderabad highway. The facility will offer world-class sales and service experience to Ford customers in the Anantapur city and districts of Anantapur and Kurnool. 
 
''Growing our dealership base, building strong business fundamentals and getting closer to our customers are areas of focus for us as we gear up to launch our small car in 2010 and enter the volume segment'', said Michael Boneham during inauguration.
 
Rithvikaa Ford is a Brand@Retail* showroom built according to Ford's global standard to guarantee a memorable and pleasant motoring and ownership experience to all customers to ensure a long-term association with the Ford Blue Oval. With this new dealership, Ford's footprint increases to 79 cities in India.
 
The service facility has 7 mechanical bays and 3 body bays and is equipped with latest diagnostic equipment with the capacity to service 500 cars in a month. It is manned by a team of 15 professional service staff trained by Ford personnel.
 
''Tier 2 and 3 markets are significantly important for Ford as we will be growing our product portfolio in the future. At the same time, we are also ensuing that our low cost of ownership message is well seeded into people who will be making buying decisions'', added Michael Boneham.
Rithvikaa Ford is tastefully designed with separate sales counters, a children’s play area and a customer lounge. In order to provide easy financing to its customers, it has tied up with the Karnataka Bank.
