Ford Offers a Helping Hand in Nashville

Ford Motor Company has announced a donation of $50,000 to support the disaster relief efforts of Hands On Nashville, one of the lead organizations assisting with the area's cleanup from devastating floods.

The Ford Motor Credit Company Nashville Business Center has a long-standing relationship with Hands On Nashville, a recognized leader in supporting volunteer activities in the greater Nashville community for nearly 20 years.

In addition, Ford is providing assistance to people whose vehicles were damaged during the floods. Ford will provide special rebates of up to $750 toward a new vehicle to people in designated disaster areas whose vehicles were damaged. Ford Credit is offering customers affected by the floods the option to delay car and truck payments for up to three months. Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services has contributed more than $6 million to non-profit organizations in the Nashville area during recent years, including $2 million during the past two years. These organizations include the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville Zoo, OASIS and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Other programs include Ford Driving Skills for Life, which offers hands-on driving clinics for teens, and Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford PAS), which provides Nashville high schools an innovative educational model that teaches academic disciplines through the lens of a career.
