Position Overview/Description:

This is an Websphere/Adobe Experience Manager Administrator position for Server Operations team. The successful candidate will be working with a global team to provide Server Operations support that includes Installation, maintenance and administration on Linux and Windows servers 24x7.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting WebSphere, Linux Operating System, Web server (IHS/Apache)
  • Applying patches, installing software,managing file systems, monitoringperformance
  • Troubleshooting alerts from monitoringsystem for system error conditions (Servlet Error, Web Server timeout, system down, disk full, CPU busy, memory full, etc.)
  • Servicing incident tickets / request submitted by developers and application
  • Requires late shift rotation (12:00pm.8:30pm shift )
  • Requires On.Call rotations after hours, weekends and holidays
In addition to the WAS duties, perform Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administrator tasks. Support AEM Operations for use in Ford's enterprise data center environment.
Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose issues, identify root cause, and resolve product issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with AEM Engineering team as needed to install and test new procedures/versions.
  • Upgrade AEM to new version as and when required.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related)
  • 3+ Years of Administration experience with IBM Websphere
  • 3+ Years of System Administration experience with Unix/Linux
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the IT Operating Model / IT Service Management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • J2EE skills (Ex: Java, Websphere)
  • Experience with Unix/Linux
  • Expertise and understanding in SharePoint
  • Experience with IT Project Manager Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, MS Project)
  • Experience to Project Manage Large Scale IT Development and/or Infrastructure Deployments
  • Motivated and self-starter
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users and IT professionals including globally distributed teams; the ability to adjust communications appropriately for the audience; work with all levels of management and diverse work groups
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of Windows server and Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with VM servers
  • Knowledge of WebSphere Liberty, Containers (especially Kubernettes) is preferred.
