Job Description Managing connected vehicle and traditional features for vehicle production and service is an area that requires innovative solutions that deliver efficient and robust global services. In Central Software we drive modern methods and tools to enable the highly complex and challenging world of embedded vehicle software development to deliver exciting new features for our customers. A successful candidate for this position will lead improvement projects to deliver the required efficiency and robustness for the delivery and support of our next generation vehicle and mobility features. Our current infrastructure is comprised of IVS (In-Vehicle Software) which is the global corporate repository of ECU software, and GiVIS (Global in-Vehicle Information System) which keeps vehicle records and provides data to support vehicle production and service. Position Duties to include the following:
Manage new requirements and the backlog of improvements for IVS and GiVIS.
Develop and help lead usage of best practices, methods and tools in our project development and execution.
Support monitoring and continuous process, method and tool improvement.
Coordinate the needs of ECU Core, Service, IT, and Connected Vehicle teams.
Become a subject matter expert of our systems and services to enable optimal system development decisions.
Plan and help lead the IVS and GiVIS development, test and deployment workflow.
Triage issues and engage cross functional and global teams to deliver solutions.
Monitor how we solve problems and help drive continuous improvement in the problem response and resolution process.
Support the roll-out of Agile development methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
2+ years of experience in test and release processes, product lifecycle management, or enterprise data management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
