Job Description
This position will work with cross functional teams to lead the enterprise architecture for vehicle electrical systems. The role will involve new technologies in automotive industry including vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to cloud, autonomous vehicles. Using systems engineering and project management skills, this team works with other functions to develop a common electrical architecture. Specific tasks will include leading engineering tradeoff studies for new features; author engineering requirements for vehicle architecture using standard tools; support regional homologation efforts; support over project management for unit architecture.
Our diverse group of systems engineers, situated in greater Detroit, is comprised of engineers with 1 to 30 years of experience in systems engineering in automotive/electrical engineering.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience systems engineering tools (such as UML, MatLab, SysML) (coursework allowed)
- 2+ years’ experience in Model based systems engineering (coursework allowed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to proactively deliver projects on-time and with quality
- 5+ years’ experience systems engineering tools (such as UML, MatLab, SysML)
- Excellent communicator
- Specification Author
- 5+ years’ experience Systems engineering or architecture experience preferred
- Understanding of electrical distribution systems; power supply; wiring a plus
