Job Description
Position Overview/Description:
We are looking for a product development engineer to perform the role of liaison with our research and advanced engineering activity. The primary function of this position is to bring new and advanced power supply systems into production. These include Autonomous Vehicle power supply system design and development, dual power net design and development, and other advanced power supply architectures.

Responsibilities:
  • Interface with research and advanced power supply engineering team to create dFMEAs, create/update system requirements, create design verification procedures
  • Work with electrical feature owners to ensure feature compatibility with new power supply systems
  • Optimize cost, weight, quality of system by performing trade-off studies

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in a systems or subsystems engineering role
  • 1+ years of experience with dFMEAs, requirements, design verification methods
  • 1+ years of experience with power supply system operation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a systems or subsystems engineering role
  • 2+ years of experience with dFMEAs, requirements, design verification methods
  • Familiarity with power supply system operation
  • Familiarity with power supply system operation
  • Strong teamwork mindset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
