In 2016, Ford has created Ford Smart Mobility LLC, a subsidiary formed to design, build, grow and invest in emerging mobility services. Ford Smart Mobility is part of Ford’s expanded business model to be both an auto and a mobility company. Ford is aggressively pursuing emerging opportunities through Ford Smart Mobility, the company plans to be a leader in Digital Services offering, which encompasses connectivity, mobility, autonomous vehicles, customer experience and data and analytics. Mobility Product Solutions is the technology group that supports the Digital Services strategy, by successfully execute and deliver emerging technologies.
Under the umbrella of Ford Smart Mobility, a City Solutions team has been formed and taking aim to be part of the solution. As we think differently about the future and expand to be an auto and mobility company, cities play an important role. With urban populations increasing, mobility issues are most acute in these urban settings. And, we believe the worlds’ cities offer the greatest opportunities to solve the mobility paradox of reducing congestion while increasing capacity.

Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead research, framing, and piloting of new product ideas
- Lead a Balanced team in support of one or more products
- Interface with City Leads, Architects, Product designers, and Product Owners
- Develop and have expertise on their product, it's market and customers
- Responsible for ensuring the product offers a strong customer and business value proposition (within the constraints of the vision of the product owner)
- Develop Product Strategy / Roadmap
- Lead the collaborative process of product development with other IT products and business customers
- Develop product features, prioritize the backlog, and managing risks while ensuring the iterations and releases are meeting business objectives
- Write, groom, enter user stories into the backlog
- Maintain and manage a backlog of user stories
- Define analytics and collects feedback in order to assess; the product health and drive improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of IT experience in application development (e.g. business analyst, project management, architecture, design, full application/system development lifecycle)
- 3+ years of experience with Product Design
3+ years of experience with the application delivery using iterative and Agile development principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading product development teams balancing business viability, technical feasibility, and customer desirability
- Experience building strong teams and relationships with business partners (internal and external)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and IT
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions
