Job Description The Ford Cyber Defense Center (CDC) is an integral part of the IT Security & Controls Department. The position opportunity is for a Tools Analyst. The Tools Analyst enables the CDC, through integration and automation of internal and external threat information across tools sets.
Responsibilities: The Tool analyst plays a pivotal role ensuring integration across tools, developing reporting mechanisms to support daily and monthly metrics reporting as well as liaison with IT planning and engineering teams. The CDC Tools analyst will be called upon to develop custom queries, big data analytics, scripts and APIs during an incident as part of the response.
Cyber Defense Center mission is to provide proactive and reactive security services to protect Ford Motor Company Global digital information assets from compromise. The scope for the CDC is for any Ford Motor Company asset or asset of any subsidiary or joint venture worldwide.
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of Information Technology experience with network security technologies, as well as host & network-based security strategies
2+ years of experience with multiple scripting languages (python, Powershell, AutoIT, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Partners and addresses problems of systems integrations with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
Participates in rapid prototyping activities in real-time with the clients to configure the RSA Archer platform to meet client business needs
Produce a detailed functional design document to match client’s requirements/expectations
Responsible for day-to-day end user application support and problem solving
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new application
API development expertise
Linux expertise
Cloud expertise
