Connected Vehicle - E2E Verification Lead

Job Description
We are seeking a Verification Lead to join our Connected Vehicle & Services team in Dearborn, Michigan. This individual will be a seasoned engineer with experience working with the latest technologies and skilled in testing end-to-end in-vehicle customer experiences. Responsibilities:

• Work with the latest technologies to test the end-to-end in-vehicle customer experience utilizing, in vehicle data, smart phones, and web services.
• Primary responsibility will be to perform the project based testing activities including the development of the design verification plan, coordination of test activities, execution and reporting of results to ensure a high level of quality is reached prior to implementation.
• Ensure that unit and integration tests developed internally to each product and across multiple cross-functional teams all roll-up to provide full system and interface testing coverage and work closely with Feature Managers and Product Engineers & Suppliers
• Thoroughly evaluate the features and functions, Create, update and review test procedures, plans Test execution and coordination of lab and field tests.
• Maintain and Operate Infotainment test bench systems.
• Specifying customer-driven product requirements and User Acceptance Testing.
• Assess testing requirements and provide estimates of testing effort and resources
• Develop new methodologies and automation to verify features in-vehicle
• Testing experience in Over The Air (OTA) SW update
• Testing experience in module reprogramming and Boot loader
• Testing experience in Web services

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:

• BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience as a Verification Engineer in Developing and managing all Test Assets (Test Plans, Test Cases, automated and manual Test Scripts)
• 3+ years of experience with Telematics/ Infotainment background, and Mobile App verification.
• 3+ years of experience with CANoe/CANalyzer simulation and UDS
• 3+ year of experience with IT Development skills and Test experience in Python, C/C++, JAVA , HTTP and MQTT

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively liaison between the multiple cross functional managers including the individual product managers, suppliers, and the IT teams to ensure that requirements reflect the need of the business
