Warriors in Pink

We're committed to raising awareness about breast cancer and helping those looking for a cure.

Ford's Role in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

In our 13th year as a national series sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, we've contributed more than $90 million in donations and in-kind gifts to fund breast cancer education and research.

Warriors in Pink

In May 2006, Ford Division and its dealers launched a new campaign to ramp up the fight against breast cancer. "Warriors in Pink" was created to promote breast cancer awareness 365 days a year.

Warriors in Pink encourages our employees to become involved in the Race for the Cure. To date, more than 50,000 Ford employees have run or walked in these races across the country as proud torchbearers of Ford's commitment to the cause. Additionally, thousands of Ford dealers across the nation have joined the fight by participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure? at their local race sites.

Mustang Joins the Race

To rev up our Warriors in Pink campaign, we've introduced a limited-edition 2008 Ford Mustang. For each Warriors in Pink package sold, we'll donate $250 directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The special Mustang is the first-ever Ford vehicle designed exclusively to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists working to save lives. Available at dealerships in late summer 2007, the 2008 Mustang with the Warriors in Pink package is available as a V6 Premium Array coupe or convertible.

In black, metallic silver and performance white colors, the Warrior in Pink package features a pink ribbon and Mustang pony fender badge, pink Mustang rocker tape striping, charcoal leather-trimmed seats with pink stitching, an aluminum-spoke steering wheel wrapped in leather with pink stitching and charcoal floormats with pink ribbon and contrast stitching.
