Global Week of Caring

We're committed to giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. Through their kindness and generosity, our volunteers made a positive impact on the world in the span of one week. And for some, the Global Week of Caring was the jumping-off point for a larger commitment to volunteer service in the year ahead.

Global Week of Caring 2007

Nearly 14,000 Ford employees volunteered for the second annual Ford Global Week of Caring. In early September 2007, these employees contributed more than 34,047 hours to public service projects caring for the most vulnerable citizens of the world; our ill, elderly, orphaned children, poor, disabled, and homeless individuals.

Making an Impact

During Global Week of Caring 2007, the kindness and generosity of Ford volunteers made an enormous positive impact on both remote mountain villages and bustling metropolitan areas.
