Controlathon is a Ford sponsored attempt to raise the interest of controls engineers in the automotive industry. This competition is a one-day event, ranging from 6-8 hours, hosted at Michigan Technological University. The students will compete against each other as individuals or teams (whichever they prefer) to see who can program an Arduino based robot to complete pre-assigned tasks (such as solving a maze, following an object, playing hockey, etc.).​
