Ford Motor Company's Global Data, Insight, and Analytics (GDIA) organization is looking for an analyst to support the integration of customer analytic insight into US Ford & Lincoln brand marketing processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest subject matter experts that are transforming the automobile industry, while influencing the marketing effectiveness of the Ford & Lincoln Marketing, Sales & Service (MS&S) teams.

The role leverages the interpretation of Customer Analytics, Forecasting, and Modeling data to influence production planning, marketing optimization, variable marketing, and spend planning, to best optimize vehicle marketing effectiveness. This individual will straddle multiple business units to gather goals and data, translate those into applicable insights, and deliver them in a relevant and meaningful way to the end user. The primary focus will be on improving the operational insight of the individual US Ford & Lincoln brand teams.

This role requires a driven, collaborative individual, comfortable working in a high paced environment, able to work with a variety of customers and manage and prioritize competing customer demands, while incrementally supporting the development of an integrated reporting and analytics framework to support US Ford & Lincoln MS&S.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration between MS&S and GDIA concepts and activities
  • Facilitate most GDIA functions for the Ford and Lincoln Integration Managers
  • Active involvement in key GDIA meetings to facilitate inclusion of Dealer and MS&S operational insights into GDIA MS&S analytics and forecasting
  • Facilitate cross-functional communications between GDIA, Marketing Service and Sales and other areas.
  • Provide contextual feedback on GDIA analytic materials and presentations beyond reporting, and interpret results in the context of the external environment
  • Assist with the improvement of systems, processes, and communications by providing business insights related to US MS&S
  • Support senior GDIA management with Sales Analytics and insights into daily US MS&S operations

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor' degree in Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related business or technical field
  • 2+ years experience working in a consultative, customer-facing role
  • 2+ years work experience managing, prioritizing, and delivering multiple requests and assignments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years work experience in Automotive industry
  • Self-starter, high level of initiative, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively provide insights, information, and ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex issues, adapt to change, work with a tight timeline and drive continuous process improvement
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in ONE FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
